The Swans kept faith with the same starting line-up that had won their last two games with clean sheets. The first few minutes of the game were even with Lewis Adams expertly punching clear a corner and Jamie Martin trying his luck from distance with the ball falling directly at the feet of Charlie Philpott at the other end.
On 18 minutes, Toumani Sidibe stole the ball on the halfway line and after running down the right touch line got in a dangerous cross which was blocked for a corner.
The best chance for the Swans again saw Sidibe cross from the right forcing a save from Philpott, the loose ball presented itself to Marley Thomas but he failed to get hold of it and the home defence managed to clear.
Two sloppy goals in a 6 minute period late in the half proved the downfall for the Swans. A free kick on the right conceded by Nathan Dennis saw Simba Mlambo head in from close range. Adams then won a foot race to a long ball forward beating Mlambo but his block fell wide for a Swans goal kick. The second goal came moments later a run down the right wing and cross into the box was not cleared and from a close range save from Adams, Mlambo taped in the rebound.
With five minutes of the second half gone, a poor pass from Martin saw Adams forced into a save from Mlambo. A couple of minutes later Ben Prictor was on hand to block Jamie Barron’s shot.
A cross field ball from young Rio Tomlin found Thomas but his effort sailed over the bar. Tomlin then had an attempt on goal himself but it was blocked by the home defence.
After an uneventful period in the middle of the second half, the Swans fell further behind with five minutes remaining. A long ball forward over the visitors defence by Winchester who appeared to have two players off side found Mlambo whose shot was saved however Liam Callaghan was in the right spot to tap the rebound into an empty net.
The final goal was scored in injury time for the home side, Adams clearance from the edge of the box struck Max Smith who got to the ball first and rolled it into the net.
The Swans first team have a two week break from league action, however they have two midweek cup games traveling to Weston Super Mare in the League Cup on Tuesday before hosting Gloucester City the following week in the County Cup. The under 18s side face Bishops Cleeve on Tuesday evening, while the reserves host Tuffley Rovers next Saturday.
