Monday night saw Slimbridge suffer defeat to league leaders Hereford Pegasus away from home.
After a quiet opening 30 minutes, Pegasus took the lead through an Isaac Cooper free-kick, looping over the Swans wall and past Olly Phillips in goal.
Slimbridge came close to equalising either side of the break with chances falling to Shiyak Sutherland, Callum Dark, and substitute Archie Myatt, with the latter leaving the post shaking following his close range effort.
15 minutes from time, the home side doubled their lead through Carlos Moreira before extending it again with another Cooper goal.
Jack Smith was able to clinically finish an opening created inside the penalty area, but there was to be no comeback as Pegasus added a fourth and final goal two minutes into stoppage time. Moreira with his second of the game.
Up next on Saturday September 7th (15:00 kick off), the first team host Mangotsfield at Thornhill Park in more league action.
