'Worcester Raiders FC would like to apologise to our fans, players, and all involved with Slimbridge AFC.

Yesterday's match postponement was completely out of our hands. 

A qualified Referee from Worcester FA inspected the pitch and deemed it fit for play. 

Following further consultation yesterday with the League Chairman and yesterday's match officials, the pitch was then deemed unplayable 40 minutes before kick off with both sets of players ready to warm up and supporters already in the stadium.

We will meet with the WFA and issue an update in due course.'
