The Swans battled and fought for a hard earned win at Thornhill Park over Cirencester, giving Manager Tom Deakin the reaction he was looking for after Saturday's display.
A 23rd minute header by Kieran Bennett following a great flick from Sergio Mills proved to be the deciding moment in the game, a minute after Cirencester had lost Harrison Reeves for a ten minute spell in the Sin Bin.
Slimbridge held firm with good defensive performances, particularly from Nathan Dennis and Charlie Hitchings, and the Swans nearly nicked a second at the end, with Kieran Bennett being denied by a goal line clearance.

A reminder that Slimbridge's away game at Corsham Town next Tuesday (11th March, 7.45pm) will be played at Thornhill Park as Corsham's Floodlights are currently not available to them. Slimbridge will be classed as the away team for the fixture.
The Under 18 side have their HFA Giantkillers Cup Quarter Final against Kidderminster Harriers Under 18s on Thursday (6th March, 7.45pm) at Thornhill Park. Please note that hot food will not be available on the night, however the bar will be open.
On Monday, the 18s travelled to Evesham United Under 18s and came back with three points courtesy of a 2-0 Victory. Goalscorers were Will Nsangou and Freddie Harris.
