Brimscombe and Thrupp are still very likely to be relegated from the Hellenic League this season, but came to Thornhill Park and battled for a victory that was throughly deserved on a night to forget for the home side.
Three first half goals, from Joe Stokes (10 Minutes), Vlad Yarmalenko (32) and Chalmers Phil (39) saw the visitors in complete control at the break, and a fourth goal, the pick of the bunch from Matt Lee on the hour mark just compounded the Swans' bad night.
Slimbridge are back at Thornhill Park on Tuesday when they host Cirencester United (7.45pm).
