Slimbridge were never in the game, although it took the best part of 15 minutes for the match to settle down, with Luke Whelan's shot being blocked by Jonty Welch, before Liam Haines' cross hit the Slimbridge post before going behind. 

Highworth continued to apply all the pressure, and after Harry Hillerby's free kick was blocked, again by Welch, the home side took the lead on 24 minutes, when a scramble in the Slimbridge box saw Piers Walton slide the ball home to put the home side ahead. 

Just before half time, it was two - Luke Whelan was allowed far too much time on the edge of the Slimbridge box, and his shot easily beat Slimbridge Keeper Gavin Jones. 

Six minutes into the second half, Whelan notched his second after being put through on goal, and the damage continued to rain down on the Swans - on 64 minutes, Walton collected his second of the afternoon. 

To rub it in, Gio Wrona converted the fifth Highworth goal with a minute to go, to complete an afternoon to forget for the visitors, who must now pick themselves up for a visit to Cirencester Town, where they will face their ex-Manager Tom Speers, who is currently working at The Centurians as First Team Coach.
