George Neill scored his sixth of the season as the points were shared at the County Ground.
Neill dispatched the Swans' opening chance of the game following an inch-perfect cross from Ben Prictor.
The rest of the first half petered out with limited chances for both sides before, inevitably, the game opened up in the second half.
With 20 minutes left, Rob Whitlock profited from a rare Ellis Parker mistake to level the game and despite promising opportunities for a late Slimbridge winner, the two sides couldn't be separated.
Following an 11 day break from football, the game couldn't have started any better for Slimbridge.
Having won a challenge on the half way line, Prictor played a neat one-two with Marley Thomas before putting the ball on a plate for Neill who tapped his effort home.
Minutes later, Lads Club had their first sight on goal as Cameron Marsh swung a cross into Whitlock at the back post, but the forwards header dipped over the crossbar for a Slimbridge goal kick.
Yellow cards for Neill and Mason Godsall proved the only remaining highlights of the first half as the Swans headed into the break with the lead.
The second half could have started as the first did, with a Slimbridge goal.
A well worked corner was whipped towards Charlie Hitchings at the back post by Thomas, but the defenders header was hit over from close range.
Five minutes later Thomas was involved again, this time his attempted pass into the back of the net was guided wide.
Further problems arose for the home side who, for 10 minutes, were reduced to ten men as Jamie Cuthbertson was sent for a sin bin.
Looking to use the one man advantage, the Swans and Neill came close to a second, but were denied by a flying save from Ross Grimshaw.
Against the odds, it was Lads Club who found the back of the net next as Whitlock unleashed a long range effort on goal which slipped through the hands of Parker and dipped into the net.
Edji Mbunga, Theo Clayson, and Will Hawes coming off the bench helped give Slimbridge more threat against tired legs as they looked for the winner late on, with lots of attacks coming through the trio.
A last ditch block denied Mbunga minutes before a powerful long range shot from Neill was spilled by Grimshaw, and with Hawes looking to tap home, the Lads Club number one recovered, collecting the ball just in time.
The best chance came just seconds before the final whistle, as Sam Blackie sent a perfect cross onto the head of Hawes who nodded his header goal bound, however Grimshaw's diving save stopped the travelling Swans' celebrations and made sure the points were shared.
Following the game Slimbridge joint manager, Adam Coyle, defended his goalkeeper who for all of this season has been extremely difficult to get the better of.
"We've done more than enough to win the game. They've had one shot on target which Ellis has obviously made a massive mistake for, but he is a very good goalkeeper, and that won't determine anything to do with Ellis.
"He's been brilliant for us this year, he's won us loads of points. It's just the life of a goalkeeper."
Coyle also pointed out how important a second goal could have proved for his side.
"We've got to score a second goal, especially when we score so early in the game. It's the second goal that's really important and I felt as if in the second half we should have got that goal, but we didn't.
"We didn't create much until it went to 1-1, and then we created chance after chance, and the keeper (Grimshaw) has made some unbelievable saves. Credit to their goal keeper.
"Overall, disappointed. But the things we've spoke about in terms of what we needed to work on since the Lydney game, we look much better in. That's a positive for us."
The draw leaves Slimbridge sitting at eighth in a competitive looking Hellenic Premier Division table, with just three points separating 10th and fifth.
Up next, Lydney Town visit Thornhill Park for the third time already this season, as the first team are in GFA Challenge Trophy action on Tuesday night.
As for the Slimbridge U18's, they travel to Dursley Town U18 in the League on Thursday night.
