Slimbridge Football Club has reluctantly accepted Tom Hitchings departure from the club.

Tom had become an integral and highly valued part of the club, but due to him accepting a full time role within the football industry, he will be leaving us at the end of June and everybody wishes him well in his new role.

Tom performed both his analysis and coaching role to an extremely high level with our first team, and will be missed by the coaches, players, supporters, and committee next season.

He also excelled as our U18s Manager, leading the team to a fantastic history making league and cup double during the 2022-2023 season, as well as supporting several players in making the step up to play Southern League football, with many of the group returning for pre season with the first team this coming summer.

An outstanding coach and leader, Tom brought the group of players together and contributed to a season that will live long in the memories of everybody involved in the club.

Everybody at Slimbridge AFC wish him every success in the future. Tom will always be welcome back at Thornhill Park.
