Slimbridge AFC are delighted to announce the appointment of David Morgan as the clubs Operations Manager.

David has been instrumental in introducing the successful U/18s and Reserves sides to Slimbridge after being involved with the youth set up for many years along with his wife Linda.

Slimbridge Secretary Colin Gay said “Both the Chairman and I are over the moon that David has accepted our offer of becoming Operations Manager of this great football club.

“This is a new position that Barry and I have been keen to introduce for a quite a while now, the club has been progressing very quickly both on and off the pitch and this appointment will only further our progression.

David will also join the executive committee alongside the recent addition of Alena Wrixon and Rob Peck bring the total to five.

On accepting his appointment David had this to say.

“I'm delighted to accept these important positions at Slimbridge AFC, a great club that has made significant progress over the last few years and we are set to go from strength to strength”

David will take up his new roles with immediate effect.
