In the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round we travel to Burnham near Slough in Berkshire for a tie that will take place on Saturday August 8th. We have previously met Burnham four times - we beat them twice in the 2015-16 Southern League season, before going out of the FA Cup at their place after a replay on penalties in 2019.

Should we progress, we will host Highworth Town or Milton Keynes Irish in the Preliminary Round in a tie which would take place at Thornhill Park on Saturday 22nd August. 

In the FA Trophy Preliminary Round, we travel to Paulton Rovers, in a tie set for Saturday 15th August. Our last competitive game against Paulton was in February 2023, when we drew 1-1 at Thornhill Park in the Southern League Division One South.

Should we progress in that game, we would then travel to Swindon Supermarine, for a game that would take place on Saturday August 29th. We last played Supermarine in the Southern League South and West in March 2018, when we fell to an 8-0 drubbing at their place. 

In the FA Youth Cup, the 18s side have landed a home tie with Brislington from Bristol in the Preliminary Round. This game is scheduled for week commencing Monday 31st August. 

In pre-season news, the Swans fell to a 4-2 defeat at Cheltenham Saracens last night, with Casey Collins and James Tainton scoring the goals. 

Our home pre-season game with Cheltenham Town has now been moved to Saturday 25th July (2.00pm) at their request, which means that the scheduled game for the night before against Thornbury Town has now been cancelled.

The 18s have now also set up another pre-season game, with Larkhall Athletic 18s coming to Thornhill Park on July 14th (7.30pm Kick Off).
