It shows the resilience that we’ve got – we’ve just said inside – we got beat 4-0 Saturday, and the lads could have quite easily come out and rolled over, and the same thing could have happened. 

But we’ve stood up to it, we’ve played well, we’ve worked hard and done a job, and we’ve been beaten by a better team. 

It’s been a great start to the year, we’re out of two cups, but the League performance has been brilliant, and these two games were always going to be tough, we have to take the resilience side of into the rest of the season. We’ve got a tough game on Saturday, we’re not under any illusions about how hard it will be, but we’re performing how we want to want to perform in our eleven games to go.'

Slimbridge travel to Thorbury Town on Saturday (3.00pm) for a Hellenic League Premier Encounter, before returning to Thornhill Park the following Tuesday (February 6th, 7.45pm) for another League matchup.
