Slimbridge Under 18's fell to to a 7-2 defeat against Western League Division One side Almondsbury FC's First Team yesterday, but can feel very proud of themselves, as they held their opponents to a very respectable 4-2 loss until the superior fitness of their opponents (who start their season next weekend) paid off in the last quarter of the game.
