Swans start FA Cup at Preliminary Round Stage

Slimbridge AFC have been given an exemption by the FA to join the FA Cup at the Preliminary Round stage, which means they will join the competition on August 21st.
This means the at the Swans' first competitive game with be their Southern League season opener on August 14th.
The FA will announce FA Cup fixtures for both the Extra-Preliminary and Preliminary Rounds this coming Friday (July 9th).
